War gut, ist gut und bleibt gut. Mit XP kann man im CarPC wohl nichts falsch machen. Glaube nicht das Vista soviel Sinn macht, da es ja sehr resourcenhungrig ist.
Mein XP hat bisher noch keine Probleme gemacht und wird auch weiterhin im CarPC seinen Dienst tun. Hatte bisher keinerlei Problem mit Hard oder Software.

Windows XP Pro läuft gut, jedoch kann man für einen CarPC auf die Pro-Funktionen verzichten und greift besser auf Windows XP Home zurück, da die speziellen Netzwerkfunktionen für einen CarPC keinen Sinn machen (Anmeldung an einer Domäne / Remotedesktop, etc.).

Wenn es um Kompatibilität geht und Windows Stabilität dan ist Xp das Beste was man bekommen kann wenn auch evtl Linux für den Carpc Besser wäre aber es gibt halt kaum software dafür. Deshalb WinXP, das ist ausgereift!

Windows XP eignet sich meiner Meinung nach perfekt für einen Car-PC...alle mir bekannten Dashboards laufen unter XP und XP hat die höchste Hardwarekompatibilität. Außerdem ist XP nicht so resourcenhungrig wie Windows Vista. Daher mein Tipp für den Car-PC: Windows XP!
Meiner meinung nach das zur zeit beste Betriebssystem für einen CAR PC und im allgemeinen gesehen ebenfalls!
Bis Windows seven jetzt im Oktober raus kommt, für mich trotz Vista, welches zu viele Probleme macht, das einzig Wahre ;)
